BB-Auto, a German tuning company specializing in Porsche 911s, is set to make its North American debut at Monterey Car Week this August. Founded in 1974 by Rainer and Kathrin Buchmann, the firm became known for pioneering advanced automotive features and creating a unique 911 Turbo Targa adorned in the rainbow colors of Polaroid.

In partnership with Galpin Motors, BB-Auto will introduce its modified new and classic Porsches, as well as other European models, to the North American market. Galpin Motors, established in the U.S. with its Porsche Santa Clarita dealership and museum, aims to leverage this collaboration to expand BB-Auto's presence.

BB-Auto will unveil an homage to its original Polaroid 911 at the 2024 Porsche Restoration Challenge during Monterey Car Week. This original car, a one-of-a-kind 911 Turbo Targa, set a precedent in automotive modification. Beau Boeckmann, CEO and President of Galpin Motors, expressed excitement about the partnership, likening the bb brand to an extension of Galpin Motors' own ethos.
